Over the years, Maryann has developed a style that is distinctly her
own. She loves color and
that is what often draws her to her subjects.
Maryann enjoys painting landscapes and also likes painting street
scenes of places that she has visited. Florals and still-lifes are
another frequent subject . She often creates vignettes, incorporating
flowers from her garden and various pieces available to her in her
paintings.
Maryann’s work appears in private collections in
“I love working in oils. It
is with joy and anticipation that I approach each new canvas. The juicy
consistency of the medium never fails to excite and challenge me. I feel
that painting has unleashed my creativity …… it has encouraged me to be
more observant and
appreciative of the beauty in nature and simply in everyday life.”
Maryann welcomes inquiries and accepts commissioned work.
